How badly do I need to be struggling in order to receive help?
Therapy can be helpful, even if you are not in crisis! It can even be preventative. If you have questions about this, I encourage you to contact me to talk more about how/if therapy could be helpful. You can also call one of the helplines listed above under "Phone Support (non crisis)" to learn more.

How often will I need to come in for appointments, and for how long?
It may be useful to meet for only 1-3 appointments. For others meeting regularly for an extended period of time works better. We decide together the frequency and duration of appointments. This also takes into account your schedule and/or life circumstances.
